Dried rhubarb pomace FIX
Dried rhubarb pomace is obtained from washed, shredded, squeezed rhubarb, which is then air-dried, in accordance with the requirements of HACCP and ISO 9001.
Next, the obtained dried fruit pomace is cut and appropriately sieved and then packed into individual packages.
The product is not intended for direct consumption; it is a raw material for further processing.
The raw materials used for production and the production conditions must meet the requirements of Polish and EU legislation in terms of quality and health safety (Regulation (EC) No. 852/2004 of 29.04.2004 with subsequent amendments, Journal of Laws 2023.1448).
The raw material used to produce the pomace is not genetically modified NON-GMO. The raw material does not contain allergens.
Use of dried rhubarb pomace FIX:
a) as a substitute for apple pectin – up to 10% of the recipe value of pectin,
b) as a source of natural fibre – for enriching flours for baking bread, for the production of crispbread, bars, cookies, muesli, desserts, dietary preparations, dairy products (yoghurts, homogenised cottage cheese, processed cheese), in pharmaceutical preparations, etc.,
c) as a source of pectins,
d) as an ingredient of jams.
